Important Information - Club Policies




  • Trampoline shoes or socks must be worn at all times for TRAMPOLINING. No socks to be worn for Gymnastics.


  • Soft, flexible trousers, leggings or shorts to be worn or gymnastics leotards/shorties.               No Jeans - No Hoodies Please also avoid clothing with buttons & buckles as these get caught in the trampoline.


  • Long hair to be tied up securely.


  • New piercings to be taped up.



Mobile Phones/Valuables


  • Mobile phones must be switched off at all times.


  • Rib Valley GTC will not be held accountable for electronic devices or valuables brought into the gym that get damaged or lost. Please leave at home.


  • It is RVGTC club policy and British Gymnastics policy not to have any individual communication via the coaches and gymnasts by mobile phone, social media, email or any other electronic communication.



  • No food to be consumed in the gymnasium and NEVER on the trampoline.


  • A leakproof bottle will be allowed into the gymnasium, however NO fizzy drinks or cans.


Spotting (Trampolining)


  • All participants of a suitable height will be required to spot at the side of the trampoline. Younger members can sit on the bench between turns.



  • We will not tolerate any form of bad behaviour or bullying. If this is occuring we will follow the procedures laid out in our Health, Safety and Welfare document which conforms to the guidelines laid out in the British Gymnastics Safeguarding and Protecting Children Policy.


  • Absolutely NO running about in the gym, and no climbing on the school equiptment/wall bars at all times.
